Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards, as well as digital payment through the App Store and Google Play.
Do you offer any memberships or subscriptions?
Yes! We offer a Virtual Membership for $34/month, giving you access to our full Video Library, online classes, and class recordings. This membership does not include access to special programs, which are sold separately.
Will I be billed automatically if I have a virtual membership?
Yes, our Virtual Membership is billed automatically each month on your signup date. You can manage your subscription and billing preferences in your account settings.
How do I cancel my membership?
You can cancel your membership anytime through your account settings. Please cancel at least 24 hours before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the upcoming month.
What is the refund policy for class cancellations?
For IRL and virtual classes, cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled event are eligible for a full refund or credit. Once cancelled, your credit will automatically appear back in your account, though your expiration date will remain the same. Unfortunately, cancellations within 24 hours of the class time are non-refundable. You will not receive your credit back. We do ask that if you can not make a class within the 24 hours that you do still cancel your reservation to free up space for another student.
Can I get a refund if I miss a class?
Missed classes are non-refundable if not canceled 24 hours in advance. However, if you’re enrolled in a class that offers a recording, you can use a credit to access it within 30 days of the live session. Refunds are returned as credits.
How do I check my remaining credits?
You can view your available credits in your account dashboard. Credit balances and expiration dates for class packs or single-use credits are listed in your billing history.
What is the expiration date for IRL classes?
Class pack credits expire based on the specific pack you purchase (e.g., 60, 90, or 120 days from the purchase date). Check your billing history for each credit’s expiration details to avoid losing any unused credits.

What if I can't make it to class?
Though we do not provide refunds, you can cancel your class and receive your credit back to book at different time. The option to cancel is available in your specific class confirmation email, as well as your account page. To cancel from your account page, log in to your account, select the ‘Bookings’ tab from your account page, and then tap the ellipses”…” next to the class you’d like to cancel. Once confirmed, it will appear on your reservations list as cancelled.
I can't make it to class. Can I get a refund?
Things come up and sometimes you can’t make it! Space is limited so please be courteous of the limited availability. Tickets will not be refunded within 24 hours of scheduled event. You will not receive a credit back if you cancel within the 24 hour window.
When should I arrive for class?
We recommend that you arrive 10 minutes early to class. This buffer will give you the time you need to change into comfortable clothes and meet other Shuffle House students!
I arrived a few minutes late for class. What should I do?
No worries! We allow students a 20-minute grace period after class begins. Just come right in and we’ll bring you up to speed!
I forgot something at the studio! Where can I find it?
If you left something at class, please contact the studio location directly and they will help you find your belongings!
Am I allowed to bring my phone?
Absolutely! We ask that you only use your phone to take videos and photos during class. If you have to make a call or answer a text, feel free to step out for a few!
Can I shower after class?
Our select studios do not currently offer showers. If and when we are able to offer this option, we will absolutely let you know!
Are there lockers or cubbies?
Yes, our select studios offer cubbies and/or lockers. While you can bring your phone and a drink into class, we do ask that you keep other belongings in a bag either in a cubby or locker outside of the studio.
Should I expect to sweat?
While we do provide fans and air-conditioning, the studio can definitely get a little warm! Make sure to wear clothes that you’re comfortable sweating in.
How loud is the music?
We do our best to create an environment full of energy and excitement! If loud music isn’t your thing, we do ask that you bring earplugs.
I bought a ticket but I can't make it! Can my friend use my spot?
Definitely! Just make sure to email us and let us know before class.
Is water avaiable at class?
Yes, but we do ask that you bring a reusable bottle with water if possible 🌏
How do I find out about upcoming classes?
When you sign up for a class you are added to our student email list where we directly send out our monthly class schedules!We also always share our class schedule on the Shuffle House Instagram Page!
Do you ever teach outside of NYC?
To stay in the know of if/when we’ll be on the road, make sure you’re subscribed to our email updates. And remember that you can always stay connected with us anytime, anywhere, online or using the Shuffle House App!
What if I can't attend a livestream class?
No worries! All live classes are recorded and uploaded to your Program Home Page. You’ll be able to watch them anytime, at your own pace!
What equipment do I need for class?
You’ll need a computer, tablet, or phone to join the live stream on Zoom. You will also need a free zoom account.
How long will I have access to my Program content?
You’ll have access to the program content, including recordings and resources, for the duration of the program, as well as extended access based on the program length. With a 4-week program, you'll get an additional 4 weeks of access after the course ends. For an 8-week program, you'll have an extra 8 weeks. After that, we may offer extended access or membership options for continued practice.
Are there any refunds if I change my mind after enrolling?
As per our terms and conditions, all purchases are final, and no refunds are issued after enrollment. Make sure you’re ready to commit before signing up!
How long are the classes?
Each class lasts about 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the lesson and how interactive the session becomes.
How do I access the live classes and resources?
After enrolling, you’ll receive a welcome email with your login details. You can access the program through your Program Home Page, where all class schedules, resources, and recorded videos will be available. Don’t forget, you can also access everything via the Shuffle House mobile app!
How do I join the private Discord group?
To connect with fellow shufflers and our instructors, you will be sent a private link upon purchase to join our private group. If you don’t have a Discord account, you can create one for free when you click the link. You'll also gain access to our public Shuffle House server, where we keep the community vibe alive!
Is there a mobile app to access my Program?
Yes! You can access all the class content and resources on the Shuffle House mobile app, available for free download on your app store. Once downloaded, simply log in, and your Program Home Page will be available under the “Programs” tab.
What if I'm struggling with a dance move?
Don’t stress! Everyone learns at their own pace, and that's completely okay! Sometimes certain moves or techniques click right away, while others take a little longer to master. Remember to be patient with yourself—learning something new takes time. The real magic is in enjoying the process and embracing each part of the journey (progress not perfection). Please feel free to reach out to your instructors - ask for tips in our private Discord group and during the livestream classes! You'll also be able to re-watch the class recordings and practice at slower tempos ✨
How can I stay motivated throughout the Program?
One of the best ways to stay motivated is to connect with others who are taking the program with you. Sharing your experiences, hearing what’s helping them, holding each other accountable and knowing that you’re not alone makes all the difference. Encouragement from your shuffle fam can be incredibly uplifting, and offering that same kindness to others creates a supportive, positive space for everyone. Share your day to day progress. Share your favorite music. Share your favorite moves. Let’s lift each other up and enjoy the journey together! 🐛🦋
How can I participate in the Program if I have a busy schedule?
Absolutely! This program is designed to be flexible. If you can’t attend the live sessions, you can always catch up with the class recordings at a time that works best for you. You can learn and practice at your own pace.
Do I need to submit videos of my progress?
Submitting videos is completely optional! If you’d like feedback from the instructors or want to share your progress with the community, feel free to post in our private Discord group. We encourage sharing, but it’s all about your comfort level.
What happens after I finish the program?
Once you’ve completed the program, you’ll have the option to join the next level of classes or keep sharpening your skills with the recorded videos at your own pace. Plus, we offer a membership options for ongoing training and access to new classes to keep you growing and dancing! 💃✨
Can I download the class videos to watch offline?
Currently, the class videos are only available for streaming online through your Program Home Page or the Shuffle House mobile app. This allows us to keep content up to date and readily accessible to you.
Will I recieve feedback from my instructor?
Yes! While the program is self-paced, you can always reach out to instructors for feedback on your progress by submitting videos in the Discord group. We’re here to support your journey and help you refine your technique.
How do I reset my password?

I didn't receive my account confirmation or reset email. What should I do?
First, check your spam or junk folder. If you still don’t see the email, ensure the address is entered correctly. For further help, contact our support team.
How do I update my account information?
Log into your account. You can update your email, password, and other information here. Save any changes before exiting. You can also update this information on our mobile app ☺︎
Do I need a zoom account?
Yes, you’ll need a free Zoom account to join the class. If you don’t already have one, sign up at zoom.us.
What is included with my virtual class credit?
Your virtual class credit includes access to the livestream and access to the class recording (available in our Video Library for 30 days).
How do I use my virtual credit's for class recordings?
Virtual credits can be used for livestreams. If you signed up for the class but missed the livestream, your credit is automatically applied to that class recording.  You can also use virtual credits to access existing class recordings.
What if my internet connection isn't stable?
A stable Wi-Fi connection helps ensure you don’t miss a beat! Try to connect from a spot in your home with strong signal strength and close any unnecessary applications or tabs on your device.
Do I have to keep my camera on during class?
No, having your camera on is completely optional! Set up your space however you feel most comfortable; whether you keep your camera on or off is entirely up to you.
What should I have with my during class?
We recommend keeping water nearby to stay hydrated. You might also want a towel if you’re in for an intense session! Stretching is a great way to warm up, and we’ll do a group stretch at the start of class as well.
Can I join the livestream a few minutes late?
Yes, you can join a few minutes late, but we recommend arriving a little early to settle in and stretch. This helps ensure you don’t miss any essential warm-ups or instructions.
What should I wear for the livestream?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely! It’s all about being able to enjoy the session without any restrictions.
Will I receive the class recording if I miss the livestream?
Yes! A recording will be available in our Video Library within 24 hours after the class, and you’ll have access to it for 30 days if you couldn’t join live.
Can I ask questions during the class?
Absolutely! Feel free to ask questions through the Zoom chat or unmute yourself at designated times. We’re here to help you get the most out of each session.
What's the best way to set up my space?
Find a spot with enough room to move around, ideally somewhere you can see your screen and the instructor clearly. Adjust your camera if you want feedback, but remember, it’s your space—set it up however you feel comfortable!
I'm having trouble playing videos. What should I do?
Ensure you’re using a stable internet connection and a compatible browser or device. If videos still won’t play, try refreshing the page, closing unnecessary apps, or restarting your device.
How do I enable notifications?
Go to your device settings, find the app under Notifications, and ensure alerts are turned on. You can also manage notification settings directly within the app under your account settings.
Can I shower after class?
